The Foothills Regional Landfill & Resource Recovery Centre (LRRC) has been working with Banner Environmental Engineering Consultants and Alberta Environment & Parks to design a hydro-vac slurry pad to service the Foothills region. Public notice of this project was advertised locally in April 2019 and some concerns were raised by local residents related to siting a slurry pad at the landfill site.
